God bless those days when we flared the world with our demented ways,
God bless those days when we conquered our horror veiled as a knight in shining armor.
What went wrong then, when a storm struck as a banter,
shaking the warriors that once stood confidently to melt down and lose their mystical powers.
The clock swung it’s hands, the sky flung it’s shadow,
the friendship that once stood rigid now has a manual to follow.
To my long lost comrade who I always miss,
I thought of letting you know that without you I pertain nothing as bliss.
Everyone needs a friendship like this.

Never a tainted one, though! 🙂

Really? Sometimes a little mischief is good.
But if it’s self-serving, then you’re probably right.

Absolutely ~ a genuine friendship is an amalgam of pranks and sobriety – all good until the ‘self-serving’ motto dives in.

So true, and great imagery. I think everyone has experienced this at one point in their life.

I do agree, I guess each one of us has gone through the same saga at least once.
